Crafted from our forest-raised, organic pigs. Backfat lard is ideal for frying food as it gives a delicate “porky” taste to what is made. Because our pigs are raised outdoors this lard is high in vitamin D as well as many other nutrients.

The best fat for frying and deep frying. We had family visiting for dinner (with young kids) and I made two batches of “French” fries with this lard, the way the French make theirs in France : frites dans du saindoux ! (with back fat lard!) out of this world! 👌
